Large layoffs reported at Aspyr Media

 

Austin, Texas based game publisher Aspyr Media - responsible of every PC portage of Guitar Hero games - is encountering a lot of difficulties and laid off a large amount of its team members a couple of weeks ago. Almost over 50 percent of the workers were let go with only a handful of team members now remaining in the offices.

Now we only can hope that the future of the Guitar Hero PC Games won't be affected...

A new franchise to come on PC ?

 

Activision registered recently the name 'Drum Hero' at the US Patent and Trademark Office so a new franchise - certainly based on the drums - will undoubtedly see the light of the day in the future. Let's cross our fingers and hope it will come on PC someday.
